Description
eBook photo book – 109 pages with a total of 110 photos from 25 different states, with captions—often with detailed captions from some of the lesser-known places.
If you were going to go on a great road trip around the United States, where would you go? In this eBook photo book, you can get a taste of some of the photographic highlights of Cynthia Greb’s experiences living in six different states and traveling multiple times around the country. In these pages you will find both beauty and whimsy and you will undoubtedly learn things you were never taught in school.
Since 2018, Cynthia has gone on multiple conscious journeys—not vacations, more like pilgrimages or sabbaticals. Her focus has been on immersing herself in nature, visiting sacred sites, learning about pre-Columbian history, and offering prayers at “the wounded places,” places of great sorrow.
In these pages you will see oceans and rivers, mountains and deserts, sunrises and sunsets, and animals large and small. You will learn about earth mounds, sites sacred to Native Americans and others, and you will find churches and Buddhas and prayer ties. You will also learn a bit about indigenous history as well as Black history.
Experience America vicariously in these pages. Maybe you’ll want to become a nomad, too!
Thoughts from some readers:
My friend Cynthia Greb has created a gorgeous collection of photos from her travels. I’ve followed her adventures for many years now (roughly 18 years) and she does have many synchronous events, miracles, and mysterious happenings occur on these trips. I believe it is her devotion to bringing awareness to marginalized populations, Mother Earth, and creatures that keeps her guardian angels close and sending validating messages.

I was fascinated by Cynthia’s book showcasing exquisite photos of her multiple cross-country trips focused on the historical struggles and culture of Native Americans. After several years regaling in-person and media audiences with presentations about indigenous people, she now offers an e-book that draws the reader into her personal adventures of being a “spiritual nomad.” The book highlights her strong sense of justice and activism, intermixed with whimsical, beautiful and unforgettable photographs with detailed captions and inspiring reflections. Kudos to Cynthia for her efforts to raise awareness of realities that we never learned about in school.

I just was so pleased to enjoy the beautiful photos and descriptions of the places and events of Cindy’s spiritual journeys. I too wonder why much of what she noted is not covered in our schools. But we know who writes the histories and, of course, it is always the dominant culture that wants to forget our many missteps.
What beauty this country holds. The photos remind me of the beauty that surrounds us no matter where we live. Thank you, Cindy, for sharing the beauty and spirituality of your work!
